Camiao & Corey

When we were scheduling their engagement shoot, I was told me we couldn't take the portraits on a weekend because Camiao and Corey were busy every Saturday building a house.  At first I was a bit confused, until I realized they were actually outside, swinging hammers, working side-by-side to build their future together.  There is just something about it that shouts FOREVER.

Camiao and Corey's engagement session was so amazing.  You can tell how in love they are simply by the smile on Camiao's face and the way Corey holds her hand and checks for creepy crawly things before she has to.  I am so honored and excited to get to know these amazing people and I can't wait for their wedding in September!

Magic. Just magic.

I was invited to spend the day with an amazing family in an absolutely amazing setting in the hills of Caldwell, Idaho. It was a happy, beautiful day and I am so grateful to have been a part of it. Congratulations Maribeth and Micah! May you and your newly united family be blessed with all the happiness in the world!

 

 

Three words: MILK & COOKIES!

I saw someone had posted a photo of a doughnut cake tonight on FB. I love me some rasperry-filling and I do adore watching the magic that is the creation of the Krispy Kreme (have you been to one of those amazing stores?!).

But a few weeks ago I saw something that takes the cake! The bride and groom's favorite treat: Milk & Cookies. Thus I present to you the Oreo cake! Gorgeous and delicious. Cute and practical. Trend approved!

It's happening! Here we go . . .

June 1st. Let the busy season begin. I love it!! Now, to keep my head above water until January!
